VEVC Reports 4.48% Drop in January 2024 CV Sales

In January 2024, VEVC witnessed a 4.48% decline in commercial vehicle (CV) sales, with 5,327 units sold compared to 5,577 units in January 2023.

Eicher Trucks Records 4.99% YoY Decrease in CV Sales

Eicher Trucks' commercial vehicle sales declined by 4.99% from January 2023 to January 2024. Eicher sold total units of 5119 in January 2024 compared to 5388 in January 2023. The brand's domestic sales also saw a decline of 7.21%, with 4,863 units sold compared to 5,241 units in January 2023.

Eicher Truck Domestic Sales Show Mixed Results

LMD Segment (3.5-15T): Sales decreased by 10.80% in the LMD segment, with 3,211 units sold in Jan 2024 compared to 3,599 units in Jan 2023.

Heavy Duty Segment: Experienced a 0.60% growth, selling 1,652 units in January 2024 compared to 1,642 units last year.

Eicher Truck Exports Show Mixed Results

LMD Segment: This segment experienced a growth of 120.00% with 242 CV units sold in Jan 2024 compared to 110 units in Jan 2023.

Heavy Duty Segment: This segment experienced a downfall of 62.20%, selling 14 units in Jan 2024 compared to 37 units last year.

Export Eicher Truck Sales: Overall, export sales for Eicher Trucks in January 2024 saw a significant increase, totalling 256 CV units compared to 147 units in January 2023, marking a 74.15% YoY growth.
