VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., A joint venture of Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has revealed the sales numbers for October 2023 at a total of 6,362 units, including domestic and international sales. The company reported a YoY growth of 20.61% when compared to sales numbers of October 2022 at 5,275 units.

Eicher Trucks reported total sales of 5,997 units for October 2023, indicating a 23.27% YoY growth, compared to 4,865 units sold in Oct 2022. Additionally, Volvo Trucks experienced a 63.80% increase in that month with a total of 208 units being sold.

For Light & Medium Duty (LMD) commercial vehicles, less than 15 tons in weight, the company reported total sales of 3,815 units. This marks the YoY growth at 14.02% for the LMD category as the total sales for the same were at 3,346 in Oct 2022.

For vehicles under the Heavy Duty CV category, total sales numbers in the month amounted to 2,182 units which were at 1,519 in Oct 2022, leading to a +43.64% YoY change.
