VECV reported a 24.65% increase in total domestic sales in March 2023

Volvo manufactures its commercial vehicles in collaboration with Eicher Motors in India. Eicher Motors and Volvo recently issued Truck Sales Figures 2023 for the month of March. It demonstrates a strong 18.72% increase in sales. In the prior month of February, sales increased by 4.60%.

Eicher Domestic Sales

In the domestic CV market, Eicher brand sold 8,568 units in March 2023, up from 6,874 units in March 2022, marking a 24.65% increase.

Eicher Motors Truck Sales figures show a 24.65% rise in overall domestic sales. In the Low & medium-duty market, 5,625 units were sold in March 2023, compared to 4,868 units in March 2022, representing a 15.60% increase in sales. The Heavy-Duty segment, on the other hand, increased by 46.70%, with sales of 2,943 units in March 2023 compared to 2,006 units in March 2022.

Eicher Export sales

In terms of exports, Eicher branded trucks and buses sold a total of 291 units in March 2023, compared to 559 units in March 2022, representing a decline of 47.94% in sales.
