VE commercial vehicle sales rise 6.5% in June 2023

In June 2023, the brand sold 1,664 units in the Heavy Duty segment, compared to 1,369 units sold in June 2022. The HD segment saw a 21.5% growth in sales.

Eicher Motors collaborates with Volvo Truck & Buses in India for its commercial vehicles. The Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicle (VECV) Truck Sales Report for June 2023 shows a 6.5 % increase in overall sales. VE Commercial Vehicles sold 6,715 units in June 2023 as compared to 6,307 units in June 2022.

Volvo Trucks & Buses

Total Volvo Trucks & Buses sales in June 2023 were 188 units, as compared to 122 units in June 2022. Overall, there is a growth of 54.1%.

VECV Domestic Truck Sales Data

Eicher Motors' Domestic truck sales in June 2023 were 6,277 units, as compared to 5,584 units in June 2022. It generates a 12.4 % increase in overall sales.

In June 2023, the brand sold 3,017 units in the low-medium duty segment(3.5-15T), compared to 2,954 units sold in June 2022. The LMD segment saw a 2.1% increase in sales.

The Heavy Duty (HD) segment, LMD Bus and HD Buses segments saw a 21.5 %, 19.2%, and 136.7% increase in sales respectively.

In June 2023, the brand sold 1,664 units in the Heavy Duty segment, compared to 1,369 units sold in June 2022. The HD segment saw a 21.5% growth in sales.

VECV Export Truck Sales Data

The Low & Medium duty segment saw a decline of 49.1% in sales. The Heavy Duty export truck segment saw a decline of 94% in sales. Total Export sales saw a decline of 73.61%. In June 2023, it exports only 129 units, compared to 489 in June 2022.

In June 2023, total Eicher truck and bus sales were 6,527 units, up from 6,185 units in June 2022.
