Clinker is a material formed during the cement manufacturing process. It is produced by heating limestone and other materials (such as clay, shale, or iron ore) in a kiln at very high temperatures. The heat causes the raw materials to react and form small, dark grey nodules called clinker.
Clinker is then cooled and ground into a fine powder, which is the main component in the production of cement. The cement produced from grinding clinker is used as a binding agent in concrete and other construction applications.
To support the reliable operation of these electric trucks in India, UltraTech has installed three charging stations—one at each manufacturing unit and an additional one on the route. The deployment of electric trucks is anticipated to have a substantial environmental impact, reducing transport emissions by approximately 680 metric tons of CO2 annually.
