Tata Motors Delivers 181 Winger Veterinary Vans to Government of Odisha

The Tata Wingers, which are powered by a 2.2-litre DiCOR engine with greater torque and fuel economy, include an ECO switch and a gear shift advisor to boost fuel efficiency.

Tata Motors, a renowned commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has delivered 181 Winger veterinary vans to the Odisha government. This significant delivery marks a crucial step towards enhancing animal healthcare services in the state.

The vehicles were flagged off by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, along with delegations from the Odisha government and Tata Motors. The Tata Winger will be used as a veterinary van by the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Government of Odisha.

According to Rohit Srivastava, Business Head - CV Passengers, these veterinarian vans will result in a new era of animal healthcare accessibility. The company is committed to advancing the state's aim of widespread veterinary services' through the supply of purpose-built Wingers.

The Wingers, which are powered by a 2.2-litre DiCOR engine with greater torque and fuel economy, include an ECO switch and a gear shift advisor to boost fuel efficiency. The vehicle has a gradeability of 25.8%, which aids with manoeuvrability on steep inclines and flyovers.

Furthermore, the Winger's independent front suspension with anti-roll bars and hydraulic shock absorbers ensures a smooth ride, as does its monocoque body design, which ensures car-like driving characteristics and minimal noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).
