Swaraj Tractors, a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group, has introduced the 'Swaraj Target' tractor series, which is compact and lightweight.
The organization will first launch two models in the 20-30 HP (14.91 - 22.37kW) range. The Swaraj Target 630 model will be accessible through the dealer network in Maharashtra and Karnataka, with prices starting at INR 5.35 lakh ex-showroom. According to a press release, the Swaraj Target 625 would be introduced in due time.
The new range blends power and modern technology features smoothly, improving efficiency in spraying, intercultural activities, and a variety of other applications.
Following its inauguration, Swaraj Tractors named Mahindra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador, and the cricketer will appear in a commercial campaign promoting Swaraj Target's cutting-edge features and cutting-edge innovations.
According to the company, the new range provides enhanced operator comfort through unique technology features such as a synchromesh gearbox for smooth gear shifts reminiscent of a car-like experience while enabling the operator to control multiple implements with the touch of a button.
Furthermore, its narrowest track width and short turning radius allow farmers to easily handle tight locations, considerably increasing production and reducing crop damage.

The introduction of Swaraj Target will create a new area for growth and aids horticulture mechanisation, a fast-growing segment in Indian agriculture.
According to Harish Chavan, CEO of M&M's Swaraj Division, the Swaraj Target is a key milestone in the company's quest to offer farmers the most modern technology tractors.
'Swaraj Tractors are known for their increased power and dependability, and with this new platform, we are offering innovative technology that will assist farmers in meeting their farm production targets by embracing contemporary agricultural practices and high-value crops,' he added.
Mahindra Group's Swaraj Tractors aims for a market share of 27-30% with these two tractors, on which the business has invested Rs 200 crores. Swaraj Target 630 was built on a new chassis designed exclusively for compact lightweight tractors.
With various first-in-class features, it establishes benchmarks in its segment in terms of innovative technology and unmatched performance. It meets the needs of farmers with a design that promises the smallest track width and a minimal turning radius, while its innovative technology provides operators with maximum comfort.
The new tractor line's power and performance will assure enhanced productivity and efficiency, minimum crop damage, and a variety of other advantages. The Swaraj Target has powerful headlamps that provide day-like brightness even in low-light circumstances, and its digital instrument cluster provides crisp readouts even in low-light conditions.
Swaraj Target 630 is powered by a DI engine with 87 Nm torque, allowing it to carry trailed sprayers for up to 800 gallons in the most treacherous terrain.
The tractor has the maximum PTO power in its class, with 24 hp at 2,800 rpm, and is capable of a uniform mist spray via imported double fan sprayers. It has a single dry clutch and an independent wet clutch, as well as a mechanical synchromesh gearbox and 9 forward and 3 reverse gears.
