In a significant stride towards sustainable logistics solutions, Safexpress, India's leading supply chain and logistics company, marked a momentous occasion as it welcomed its first electric vehicle (EV) from Eicher and celebrated the delivery of its 100th Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV).

Safexpress received its 100th Eicher vehicle in the current fiscal year, as well as India's first 5.5 T electric truck, the Eicher Pro 2055 EV.
The unveiling of Safexpress's first Eicher EV underscores the company's commitment to adopting eco-friendly transportation methods. The Eicher EV, equipped with state-of-the-art battery technology, is poised to reduce carbon emissions and contribute to a cleaner environment.

Eicher's proven electric vehicle technology, which is already in use in intra-city bus applications, is used in the new Eicher Pro 2055 EV.

Two fully built container alternatives are available for the truck with a deck length of 12 feet. To fulfil the needs of certain applications, the company offers both fast and slow charging alternatives. VECV's service solution considers charging infrastructure availability, operational requirements, charging time limits, battery capacity, and overall fleet energy management techniques.
The truck is outfitted with Eicher's advanced telematics technology, as well as My Eicher services. In addition to the introduction of the EV, Safexpress celebrated the milestone of delivering its 100th Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV).
