Rajasthan is rapidly expanding its Agri Stack, also known as Krishi Stack, to digitise agricultural services and make the delivery of government schemes more transparent, targeted and efficient. The state has already completed the Farmer Registry of 87.44 lakh farmers, achieving 96.95% of the target set by the Government of India.
The next phase will connect the Farmer Registry and Farmer ID with major agricultural services, including fertilizer distribution, MSP procurement, digital crop surveys and other farmer-focused government schemes. Rajasthan is also targeting a 100% digital crop survey across all 424 online tehsils during Kharif 2026-27.
The progress and future roadmap were reviewed by the Agri Stack State-Level Steering Committee, chaired by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas. The committee reviewed the Farmer Registry, Farmer ID, digital crop survey, fertilizer distribution, MSP procurement and the digitisation of agricultural schemes, while directing concerned departments to implement the decisions within the prescribed timelines.
Rajasthan has registered 87.44 lakh farmers under the Farmer Registry so far. This represents 96.95% of the target assigned to the state.
Out of these registered farmers, 49.46 lakh PM-KISAN beneficiaries have also been successfully linked with the Farmer Registry. The state has accelerated the registration process through rural service camps, Jan Aadhaar-based verification and the integration of agricultural supervisors into the digital system.
The Farmer ID will now serve as the primary identification system for farmer-focused schemes run by the Agriculture Department. Relevant departments have been directed to ensure its mandatory use in applicable schemes.
To ensure the effective implementation and management of Krishi Stack, Rajasthan will establish a dedicated Krishi Stack Commissionerate within the Agriculture Department.
The Agriculture Commissioner will also be given the additional responsibility of Krishi Stack Commissioner. The new structure is expected to support the integrated functioning of the Farmer Registry, data-sharing systems and multiple digital agriculture platforms.
The state will prepare a detailed proposal to shift the implementation of the PM-KISAN scheme from the Cooperative Department to the Agriculture Department and submit it to the state government.
In addition, the government plans to make the Farmer ID mandatory from the 26th instalment of the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. This move is aimed at improving the integration of farmer identity and government scheme records.
Rajasthan has set a deadline of August 31, 2026, to complete data synchronisation between the Record of Rights (RoR) and the Farmer Registry.
After the initial synchronisation, the state plans to develop a system for continuous data exchange and implement an RoR verification module. The Board of Revenue has also been directed to make the entry of an applicant's Aadhaar number and Farmer ID mandatory during the mutation process by September 15, 2026.
Following a successful pilot of the Fertilizer Distribution System (FFS) in Rajsamand and Sirohi, which benefited around 70,000 farmers, Rajasthan has decided to expand the digital system across the state in August 2026.
The digital fertilizer distribution system is expected to improve transparency and make the fertilizer supply process more streamlined for farmers.
The Rajasthan government will also link the Farmer Registry with the Food Department and Rajfed's MSP procurement system on a priority basis.
A pilot project will begin in two districts during the current procurement season. The integration is expected to help authorities identify eligible farmers more efficiently and simplify procurement under the Minimum Support Price system.
The government has also directed officials to quickly finalise an SOP for including tenant and subsistence farmers in the Farmer Registry.
Digital crop surveys will become another major component of Rajasthan's Krishi Stack. During Kharif 2026-27, the state plans to conduct digital crop surveys in all 424 online tehsils.
Farmers themselves will conduct 25% of the surveys through self-girdawari. The state has approved a budget of ₹29.10 crore for the survey work, with payments planned at ₹10 per measles.
Youth receiving unemployment allowance will be given priority for survey-related work. Rajasthan will also use satellite data and AI-based photo validation to strengthen the accuracy and digital verification of crop information.
The state plans to send a proposal to the Finance Department to allocate ₹100 crore from the ₹665 crore incentive for the new fertilizer distribution system as capital expenditure for the Krishi Stack and related IT infrastructure.
Rajasthan's objective is to use the agricultural digital ecosystem not only for technology adoption but also to make government services easier, more transparent and more effective for farmers.
The government will spread awareness about Kisan ID, Kisan Registry and digital agriculture services through social media. The Chief Secretary has also directed departments to conduct regular monthly and fortnightly reviews to monitor the implementation of Krishi Stack-related work.
The expansion of the Farmer Registry is set to create a more connected digital agriculture system in Rajasthan. A single Farmer ID is expected to play an increasingly important role in accessing government schemes and services, while digital integration could simplify processes related to fertilizer distribution, MSP procurement, crop surveys and farmer benefit schemes.
With 87.44 lakh farmers already registered, the state is now moving towards linking different agricultural databases and services through Krishi Stack, with key deadlines and statewide digital initiatives planned for August and September 2026.

Rajasthan’s Krishi Stack initiative marks a major step towards building a connected digital agriculture ecosystem. With 87.44 lakh farmers already registered, Farmer ID will play a central role in accessing schemes and services. The integration of fertilizer distribution, MSP procurement, RoR records and digital crop surveys aims to improve transparency, accuracy and service delivery, helping eligible farmers access government benefits more efficiently across the state.
