Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd(PVPL) is a 100% subsidiary of the Italian Piaggio Group and India's leading manufacturer of small commercial vehicles. Piaggio Vehicles, an early entrant into the all-electric 3-wheeler segment, has reached a significant milestone by delivering over 10,000 EVs in the fiscal year 2022. Piaggio Vehicles introduced its first commercial 3-wheeler electric vehicle, Apé Electrik, to India in 2019. PVPL has maintained a dominant market leader position in the L5 category since then, with over 40% market share.

Apé Electrik has the industry's widest selection of electric 3W products. The Ape Electrik electric three-wheeler is available in several variants, including passenger and cargo carrying, as well as fixed and swappable batteries.

Mr Diego Graffi, Chairman and Managing Director, of Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd said, "India's acceptance and rate of adoption of EV technology have been tremendous. Our 3-Wheeler EV product ensures that we continue to set industry benchmarks while making significant contributions to India's EV infrastructure. Delivering over 10,000 Apé Electrik vehicles is a significant accomplishment, and I hope to deliver over 20,000 by 2023."

Piaggio Vehicles Products

The Ape E Xtra FX Max, Ape E City FX Max, Ape E City, and Ape E Xtra are all part of Piaggio's e-auto lineup. The Piaggio Ape is available with petrol, diesel, and CNG engines. Last year, the company collaborated with Gulf Oil India to launch a specialized line of lubricants for its three-wheeler EVs.

Piaggio wants to provide you with a greener, more sustainable last-mile vehicle that is lower in operating costs and higher in profit. Apé Electrik is a well-known passenger carrier three-wheeler with no sound, no clutch, and a fuel tank that looks similar to the regular one. You can use it for your daily business needs because it is easy to drive, has enough space for 3-4 passengers, is packed with features, and has an overall superior build quality.
