New Holland is aiming to transform the vineyard tractor experience with the debut of their Comfort Ride cab suspension technology at SITEVI 2023.

New Holland, a leading manufacturer of agricultural and tractor machinery, has recently introduced an innovative Comfort Ride Cab Suspension System for their T4V and T4N Vineyard Tractors. This cutting-edge Suspension system aims to enhance the driver's comfort, stability, and performance during vineyard operations.
New Holland is aiming to transform the vineyard tractor experience with the debut of their Comfort Ride cab suspension technology at SITEVI 2023. This unique solution, designed specifically for T4V and T4N vineyard tractors, provides unrivalled comfort, lowering vibrations by 15% in the field and an amazing 60% on the road.
The Comfort Ride cab suspension, which was already popular in higher-powered New Holland tractors, was modified to meet the dimensions of vineyards. This suspension solution is expected to improve operator health and productivity while setting a new standard in the vineyard tractor market.
Comfort Ride cab suspension includes various components that minimize all primary causes of vibration, such as mechanical elements, travel speed, ground impacts, implement forces, and tyre impacts. Front axle suspension, rear hitch suspension, air seat suspension, and a progressive engagement mechanism for PTO-driven implements are among them.
The hours spent behind the wheel of vineyard tractors increase as farms grow in size, mechanization increases, and cultivation techniques evolve. Recognizing the issues created by constant vibrations, Comfort Ride becomes a critical solution.
The Comfort Ride cab suspension system provides operator comfort by cushioning vertical movements with hydraulic shock absorbers, restricting lateral movements with a Panhard bar, and managing height and limiting forward and backward movement with a pneumatic cushion.

Benefits of Cab Suspension
New Holland has extended the Comfort Ride suspension system to T4V and T4N vineyard tractors with an overall width of up to 1.06m to ensure that all speciality tractor drivers benefit, regardless of size limits. The suspension consists of a Panhard bar, hydraulic shock absorbers, and a pneumatic cushion that have been expertly integrated without compromising the tractor's breadth.
The suspension's flexibility allows for weight-based modifications, with a gauge at the rear of the cab offering visibility into ideal adjustment. This personalization guarantees that operators have optimal comfort that is matched to their unique requirements.
By the end of 2024, New Holland hopes to have the Comfort Ride suspension accessible on all New Holland T4 speciality tractors, including the F and LP models, moving towards a new era of comfort and efficiency for vineyard operators.
New Holland’s commitment to innovation continues to elevate the vineyard tractor experience. The Comfort Ride Cab Suspension System demonstrates their dedication to both performance and operator well-being.
