M&M's tractor manufacturing business will unveil the Mahindra Oja on August 15, 2023, which the company describes as the "most technologically advanced global tractor platform."
On April 6, 2023, Mahindra Tractors, a division of M&M's Farm Equipment Sector, announced the name 'Oja' for its all-new lightweight global tractor platform (codenamed K2), which is drawn from the Sanskrit word 'Ojas', which represents vitality, energy, and strength.

Mahindra Oja is undoubtedly M&M's most ambitious tractor initiative, encompassing four platforms, forty models, and four main markets: India, the United States, Southeast Asia, and Japan. The Mahindra Oja tractor platform will produce 40 models, ranging in power from 20hp to 70hp.
The four sub-tractor platforms are Sub-Compact, Compact, Small Utility, and Big Utility tractor categories, with 40 models available at various HP levels and will be released over the following three fiscal years, beginning this year. According to the firm, each Mahindra Oja tractor would have "best first-in-class technology features."

The Mahindra Oja line is the result of close collaboration between Mitsubishi Mahindra Agriculture Machinery's engineering teams in Japan and Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai, the R&D centre for Mahindra's Auto & Farm sector.
The Mahindra Oja tractors will be manufactured entirely at Mahindra's cutting-edge Zaheerabad tractor facility, one of the largest in South Asia and the newest among Mahindra's tractor manufacturing facilities.
The Telangana vertically integrated factory, which got an investment of around Rs 1,087 crore, is capable of producing over 100,000 tractors per year on a two-shift basis. The plant already produces Mahindra's Yuvo and Jivo tractors, as well as the recently introduced Plus Series.
