In a strategic move to strengthen its position as the market leader in small commercial vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced the Mahindra Supro Profit Truck Excel, a new addition to its successful Supro range. The launch event showcases Mahindra's commitment to empowering businesses and enhancing last-mile connectivity in India.
The Mahindra Supro series, initially launched in 2015, has witnessed remarkable success, with over 200,000 units sold to date. The lainch of the Mahindra Supro Profit Truck Excel marks a significant advancement in the sub-2-tonne segment, demonstrating Mahindra's dedication to meeting the evolving needs of businesses.
The Mahindra Supro Profit Truck Excel comes with a modern 5-speed transmission, a stronger chassis that's 19% stiffer, and an innovative anti-roll bar. These upgrades enhance performance, set a new benchmark for payload capacity, and redefine the less than 2-tonne segment.
Nalinikanth Gollangunta, CEO of the Automotive division at Mahindra & Mahindra, emphasized the importance of the launch, stating, "This launch marks a significant stride in the sub-2-tonne segment, showcasing our commitment to empowering businesses and transforming last-mile connectivity in India."
Payload Capacity: The Mahindra Supro Profit Truck Excel offers a best-in-class payload capacity, making it an excellent choice for businesses requiring efficient transportation. The diesel variant of the Supro Excel comes with a maximum payload capacity of up to 900 kg, while the CNG Duo variant offers a capacity of 750 kg.
Fuel Efficiency: The Mahindra Supro Profit Truck Excel has impressive fuel efficiency, ensuring cost-effective operations for businesses looking to optimize fuel expenses.
Safety Features: With an Anti-Roll Bar, the pickup truck provides enhanced safety by ensuring stability to its wheelbase, contributing to a safer driving experience.

The Mahindra Supro Excel is available in two powertrain options, offering versatility to meet diverse customer requirements. The diesel variant comes with a competitive starting price of Rs. 6.62 lakh, providing a mileage of 23.61 km per litre.
On the other hand, the CNG Duo variant, priced at Rs. 6.94 lakh, offers a mileage of 24.88 km per kilo and a substantial maximum range of 500 km. It has dual fuel capability.
Baneshwar Banerjee, Vice President and Head of Sales at Mahindra Auto, highlighted that Supro Excel's design is rooted in customer insights. Addressing key customer demands, the new model has higher payload capacity and increased mileage, catering to the dynamic requirements of businesses.
