The Mahindra Supro CNG Duo is the company's first Dual-Fuel vehicle in the Small Commercial Vehicle Segment, with a starting price of Rs 6.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

A vehicle that operates on both gasoline and CNG is knowns as a Dual-Fuel vehicle. It has a direct-in-CNG start which enables the vehicle to be on mode in CNG mode.

The Supro CNG Duo has paved the way for the company to enter the dual-fuel market. It will provide its owners and operators with exceptionally low running expenses. It is designed to meet the severe demands of logistics, supply chains, and e-commerce organizations while also providing value to customers.

Since its introduction in 2016, Mahindra & Mahindra has sold over 1.75 lakh Supro small commercial vehicles. According to the firm, the new Supro CNG pair has a fuel economy of 23.35 km per kilogramme and a range of 325 kilometres (the CNG plus petrol), allowing the user to travel inter-city safely. M&M's monthly Supro volumes have doubled with the introduction of CNG.

Baneswar Banerjee, VP and national sales head at Mahindra & Mahindra's automotive division, said that the CNG category in the sub-2 tonne segment has been the fastest growing market.

“Last year, around 5000 units of CNG were sold per month in the sub-2 tonne space, and it is likely to rise rapidly in the future due to decreased fuel costs and the extension of the CNG network across the country. At Mahindra, we strive to create disruptive products with the lowest operating costs; we are confident that Supro CNG will deliver higher earnings and profits to our customers," Banerjee added.
