Though the onset of the SouthWest monsoon was delayed due to cyclonic disturbances, it moved swiftly in the last week of June and has already blanketed the whole country, providing significant relief to farmers and assisting with Kharif sowing. As of today, the total sowing area of Kharif crops is ahead of last year's acreage and progressing quickly. Furthermore, government support with an increase in MSP for all Kharif crops, and improved farmer terms of trade are all favourable aspects that are projected to enhance tractor demand in the future. We sold 1,114 tractors in the foreign market."
