Mahindra & Mahindra has announced its commercial vehicle (CV) and three-wheeler sales figures for May 2026, reporting strong growth in both domestic and export markets. The company sold 36,615 units in the domestic market, registering a 36% year-on-year increase compared to 26,933 units sold in May 2025.
The growth was supported by healthy demand across light commercial vehicles and an exceptional performance from the three-wheeler segment.
According to the sales data, Mahindra witnessed growth across all major categories. The strongest increase came from the three-wheeler segment, while both light commercial vehicle categories also posted solid gains.

The LCV below 2-ton category recorded sales of 3,490 units in May 2026, compared to 2,580 units during the same month last year. This represents a 35% increase.
The growth was supported by rising demand from urban logistics, e-commerce deliveries, and last-mile transportation services.
Mahindra sold 20,589 units in the LCV 2T–3.5T segment during May 2026, up from 17,718 units in May 2025.
The segment posted 16% year-on-year growth, driven by increasing logistics activity and demand for higher payload commercial vehicles.
The company's three-wheeler business emerged as the best-performing segment during the month.
Sales surged to 12,536 units from 6,635 units a year ago, resulting in an impressive 89% growth.
The strong performance was mainly driven by increasing demand for passenger carriers and electric three-wheelers across the country.
Mahindra also reported healthy growth in overseas markets during May 2026.
