In India, Mahindra is modernizing its whole SUV lineup. While the Scorpio was recently released in its new Scorpio-N avatar, the company is also set to release the new Bolero very soon. The vehicle has now arrived in dealership yards, indicating that the debut will take place soon.
According to the new spy photos, the next Bolero will be the latest recipient of the company's SUV-specific twin peaks badge. This will be applied to the front grille, tailgate, wheel covers, and steering wheel of the vehicle. A similar change was first seen on the Mahindra XUV700 and then on the new Scorpio N. Furthermore, the company recently revealed the future XUV300 with the revised logo.
Apart from the usage of a new logo, the overall appearance of the Mahindra Bolero looks to be the same. The automobile retains its trademark boxy and towering posture, as well as metal bumpers. The manufacturer hasn't even changed the car's lighting design, which still features vertically stacked tail lamps and square-shaped headlamps.
Inside, the cabin remains the same, with a seven-seat arrangement. Other amenities include a digital instrument cluster, central locking, reverse parking sensors, and twin front airbags.
Mahindra Bolero has features such as manual air conditioning, a single DIN audio system, power windows, third-row jump seats, dual front airbags, and rear parking sensors. The new Bolero is expected to be powered by the same 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 75bhp and 210Nm of peak torque. It is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission.Features like a 7-inch touchscreen, cruise control, a 6-speaker audio system, the BlueSense car app, and steering-mounted controls will remain the same.
Bolero continues to drive sales for Mahindra and serves as the company's bread and butter offering. With the most recent modification, the SUV is also likely to cost more than it does now.
