Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Ltd reported a 37% increase in total vehicle sales in January, reaching 64,335 units. In January 2022, it sold a total of 46,808 units.
Total passenger vehicle sales increased by 65% to 33,040 units in January 2022, compared to 19,646 units in January 2022.
Utility vehicle domestic sales increased 66% in the previous month to 32,915 units, up from 19,848 units in January 2022, despite disruptions in the supply chain of crash sensors and airbag ECUs due to semiconductor shortages.

In the first month of 2023, Mahindra Truck & Buses just saw a 17.96% increase in truck sales. Almost all segments of the commercial vehicle manufacturing brand have seen significant growth.
The LCV 2T category fell by 10%, selling 2,675 units in January 2023 versus 2,984 units in January 2022, while the LCV 2T-3.5T category increased by 3%, selling 18,101 units in January 2023 versus 17,529 in January 2022.
The LCV 3.5T + MHCV segment increased by 59%. The category sold 948 units, representing a 59% increase over the 598 units sold in January 2023.
The three-wheelers segment recorded a 129% increase with 6,562 units, compared to 2,868 units in January 2022. The category with the greatest increase in January 2023 remained three-wheelers, including electric three-wheelers.
The brand increased its export sales by 5% in January 2023, selling 3,009 commercial vehicles compared to 2,865 units in January 2022.
