Around 1 lakh names removed from the list.
Incomplete e-KYC is the main reason.
Beneficiaries advised to verify documents quickly.
The Madhya Pradesh government’s popular Ladli Behna Yojana is once again in the spotlight ahead of the release of its 36th installment. This time, nearly 1 lakh women beneficiaries have reportedly been removed from the scheme’s beneficiary list after e-KYC verification and eligibility checks. Due to this, these women will not receive the upcoming installment amount in their bank accounts.
The 36th installment of the scheme is scheduled to be released on May 13. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer the amount directly to eligible women through a single-click transfer during a state-level event in Gotegaon, Narsinghpur district. While millions of women are waiting for the next installment, the removal of thousands of names has created concern among beneficiaries across the state.
According to reports, the biggest reason behind the removal of names from the beneficiary list is incomplete e-KYC and document verification. The government had repeatedly asked beneficiaries to update their Aadhaar details, complete bank verification, and match their records with Samagra ID details.
Women who failed to complete these formalities have been temporarily removed from the scheme list. Apart from this, several names were also removed during eligibility verification related to:
Age criteria
Marital status
Family income
Government employment status
Benefits from other government schemes
Officials have clarified that only women who fulfill all eligibility conditions will continue to receive benefits under the scheme.
Women facing any of the following issues may not receive the 36th installment amount this time:
Incomplete e-KYC
Aadhaar not linked with bank account
Incorrect Aadhaar information
Mismatch in Samagra ID details
Eligibility-related issues
Beneficiaries have been advised to immediately update and verify all documents to avoid further payment delays.
The Madhya Pradesh government is expected to release the 36th installment amount on May 13. Under this installment, eligible women are likely to receive Rs 1,500 directly in their bank accounts.
Reports suggest that the government may transfer more than Rs 1,800 crore under the scheme during this phase. Administrative preparations for the fund transfer have already been intensified at the district level.
Women can easily check their payment and beneficiary status from home through their mobile phones by following these simple steps:
Visit the official website of Ladli Behna Yojana
Click on the “Application and Payment Status” option
Enter your Registration Number or Samagra ID
Fill in the verification code received on your registered mobile number
Your payment status and beneficiary details will appear on the screen
This process will help women confirm whether their names are still present in the updated beneficiary list.
Women whose names are missing from the list do not need to panic. The government has advised affected beneficiaries to complete the correction process as soon as possible.
The following steps can help restore eligibility in future installments:
Complete pending e-KYC
Update Aadhaar details
Correct bank account information
Verify Samagra ID records
Submit corrected documents at the nearest Public Service Center or Panchayat office
Once the corrections are verified, the beneficiary name may be added again in the next updated list.
At present, the Madhya Pradesh government has not started fresh registrations for the scheme. Only women who are already registered and eligible are receiving benefits.
There has been no official announcement regarding the reopening of new applications for the scheme.
Before the release of the 36th installment, beneficiary women have been strongly advised to verify their payment status and complete pending documentation work immediately.
The scheme continues to provide financial support to millions of women across Madhya Pradesh. However, the removal of nearly 1 lakh names has increased anxiety among several families. Completing e-KYC and correcting document-related issues on time will help beneficiaries continue receiving future installments without interruption.
