Jupiter Wagons Ltd (JWL), a manufacturer of wagons, brake systems and brake discs for high-speed passenger coaches, as well as railway and engineering equipment, plans to showcase its commercial electric vehicles on January 12, 2023, at the Auto Expo - The Motor Show 2023.
The company announced its entry into the electric vehicle (EV) segment earlier this year with the launch of 'Jupiter Electric Mobility,' which focuses on commercial EVs. Jupiter Electric Mobility intends to manufacture end-to-end in India and establish service facilities in key markets to meet after-sales needs for a seamless customer experience.
JWL's electric vehicle has formed a partnership with GreenPower Motors of Canada, which specializes in ECVs (electric commercial vehicles) for the passenger and freight transportation markets. Commercial electric vehicles in the 2.2-tonne to the 7-tonne range will be available.
