JKTyre has introduced a new range of SUV tyres in India, known as the Ranger HPe and X-AT. The two new tyres will be sold alongside JK Tyre's existing Ranger series, and according to the company, they are specifically designed to cater to India's fast-growing SUV segment. Currently, the company sells over 60,000 Ranger series tyres ranging in size from 15 to 18 inches.
These tyres were developed using Xpolymer3 technology, which makes them durable, fuel-efficient, and safer for Indian roads. Ranger HPe tyres are designed for electric vehicles, while Ranger X-AT tyres are designed for extreme terrain.
According to the company, the Range X-AT tyres are designed for extreme conditions and the new JK Tyre Ranger X-AT is intended to provide better steering stability and durability in extreme conditions.
JK Tyre has also opened five new dealerships in Maharashtra to complement its new offerings: Nashik, Nagpur, Dhule, Lasal Gaun, and Malegaun. These new dealerships will, among other things, provide computerized wheel alignment, balancing, and automated tyre-changing services.
"Our Ranger series has been well-received by our customers and the two new latest editions—Ranger HPe and Ranger X-AT—are designed in a way that will further elevate the customer's SUV experience. We are developing low RRC tyres while keeping durability, performance, and characteristics in mind," said Anuj Kathuria, President of JK Tyre & Industries Ltd.
