Blue Energy Motors, a zero-emission vehicle technology business, is making history by launching its 100th LNG truck. Blue Energy Motors announced the delivery of its 100th LNG truck from its Pune production facility.

In November 2022, Blue Energy Motors debuted its first BE 5528+ model, signalling the company's entry into the LNG-fueled truck business. FPT multipoint stoichiometric combustion engine technology is used in the truck.

Since its debut, the BE 5528+ model has effectively reduced the cement and steel sectors' logistical carbon emissions. These trucks feature 280 horsepower, and 1000 Nm of torque, as well as superior TCO and quieter operation as compared to standard fuel-powered trucks, making them the most powerful liquified natural gas truck available in the Indian market.

The BEM achievement is a big step toward sustainability because each BEM LNG truck is environmentally favourable and emits fewer greenhouse gases than diesel-powered trucks.

Concerning the increased manufacturing of Blue Energy Motors, it is clear that a more economically viable option exists for the heavy-duty trucking industry to accelerate decarbonization and promote climate change.

Furthermore, the vehicle manufacturer recently completed a strategic investment by FPT Industrial, Iveco Group's global powertrain brand, in which FPT bought a minority position in the company.

Blue Energy Motors CEO Anirudh Bhuwalka stated, "Sustainability should no longer be an option, but rather a way of life. Our trucks were designed and developed to meet the conditions and expectations of Indian duty cycles. They are the most effective and immediate practical answer to the heavy-duty vehicle industry's pollution problem."

Blue Energy Motors has created a strong basis for itself as a market revolutionist in the clean energy heavy-duty trucking industry, with a 10,000-Truck installed capacity that can be expanded as the market grows and demand surges.
