In March 2023, Escorts Kubota exported 704 tractors, compared to 591 tractors in March 2022. In the export market, the brand's sales increased by 19.1%.
Escorts Kubota's domestic tractor sales in FY 2023 were 23,081 tractors, up from 20,272 tractors in FY 2022. This year, the company's domestic tractor sales have increased by 13.9%.
In FY 2023, Escorts Kubota exported 1,684 tractors, compared to 1,623 tractors in FY 2022. In the export market, the brand’s sales increased by 3.8%.
Retail demand for Escorts Kubota tractors has increased and continues to be high in all regions. Demand will remain robust in 2023 as crop prices rise, planting improves, water retention improves, and rural and agricultural budget allocations are justified.
Retail sales were affected by unseasonal rainfall and agricultural damage in several areas in March despite the holiday season. But, with continuing government assistance, higher crop prices, more credit availability, and adequate water reservoir levels, we anticipate similar demand momentum to continue across geographies in the following quarter.
