Eicher Trucks and Buses has unveiled its EV-First Eicher Truck

The newly unveiled Eicher Truck falls under the Pro Business Pro Planet range, covering Gross Vehicle Weights (GVW) from 2T to 3.5T.

In a significant move, Eicher Trucks and Buses has announced its foray into the Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) segment by globally unveiling its EV-First Eicher Truck at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. This marks a strategic step by Eicher towards offering innovative, sustainable, and economically viable transportation solutions.

The newly unveiled Eicher Truck falls under the Pro Business, Pro Planet range, covering Gross Vehicle Weights (GVW) from 2T to 3.5 T. This range is designed to cater to city and near-city distribution needs, facilitating efficient last-mile logistics.

Vinod Aggarwal, MD & CEO of VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, expressed Eicher's vision during the global unveiling. Timeline for SCV Vehicle Launch

Eicher's SCV (Small Commercial Vehicle) is set for customer trials in April 2024, with a planned commercial launch in Q1 2025. The vehicle, designed and developed in India, will be manufactured at Eicher's advanced facility in Bhopal, aligning with the government's Make in India initiative.
