100 Eicher Pro X EV trucks deployed for Pickup’s operations.
Vehicles to serve retail, e-commerce, FMCG, and perishable deliveries.
Manufactured at VECV’s Industry 4.0-enabled Bhopal plant.
Offers best-in-class range, largest cargo body, and CCS2 fast charging.
Supports clean logistics and accelerates EV adoption in India.
Eicher Trucks and Buses, a division of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), has announced a strategic partnership with Pickup, a leading tech-enabled logistics provider, to deploy 100 Eicher Pro X electric small trucks. These vehicles will be deployed in phases and used for retail distribution, e-commerce, FMCG, and perishable deliveries across Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru.
This collaboration is a significant step toward promoting clean logistics and sustainable urban mobility. Pickup, which operates a 100% electric four-wheeler fleet under an asset-light model, already serves major e-commerce and logistics players in India. The addition of Eicher Pro X EVs will help them scale operations while reducing emissions and improving efficiency in mid-mile and last-mile delivery networks.
The Eicher Pro X EV is designed and manufactured at VECV’s Industry 4.0-enabled Bhopal plant. It offers:
Best-in-class driving range
Largest cargo body in its segment
CCS2 fast-charging compatibility for quicker turnaround times
Integration with the My Eicher connected platform for predictive diagnostics and real-time support
This makes it an ideal solution for sectors with high-volume, time-sensitive logistics such as retail, FMCG, courier, and perishable goods delivery.

Mr. Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP, Small Commercial Vehicles, Eicher Trucks and Buses, said: “This partnership with Pickkup is a key step toward supporting customers with future-ready mobility solutions. The phased deployment of Eicher's small electric trucks demonstrates growing confidence in Eicher’s technology and the readiness of logistics operators to adopt EVs. The Eicher Pro X has been co-created with customers to deliver both environmental and economic sustainability.”
Mr. Ankush Sharma, Founder & CEO, Pickkup, added: “Pickkup’s vision is to decarbonize logistics while maintaining operational efficiency at scale. The Eicher Pro X EV perfectly aligns with our growth strategy and enables us to expand faster and serve more customers. This partnership puts Pickkup in a leadership position in shaping future-ready logistics solutions for India.”
The Eicher Pro X EV represents a strong push for ‘Make in India’ products. Supported by Eicher’s Uptime Centre, fleet operators can ensure maximum vehicle availability and productivity. This collaboration between VECV and Pickkup shows how OEMs and logistics startups can work together to accelerate EV adoption in India’s commercial vehicle market.
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) is a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited. Since 2008, it has been a leader in modernizing commercial transportation in India, offering a full range of trucks, buses, and engines.
Pickkup is an EV-based logistics and transportation company that operates across Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Chandigarh. It focuses on building smarter and more sustainable last-mile delivery solutions for businesses, corporate clients, and large e-commerce platforms.

Together, they are shaping the future of sustainable mobility in India.
