Carnot Technologies employs an AI-enabled IoT platform to monitor tractors and increase the earning potential of farmers, harvesters, and tractor owners. This company was founded by Pushkar Limaye, Prathmesh Joshi, and Rohan Vadgaonkar.

The three attended IIT Bombay. During that time, Pushkar and Limaye were key members of the IIT Bombay Racing group, which develops and installs new automotive technologies.
Tractors are linked to an AI-enabled IoT device. Farmers use a smartphone application to track tractors in real-time, calculate the amount of work done, and monitor fuel status. According to the corporation, fuel optimization, including the reduction of fuel theft, has resulted in average savings of Rs 50,000 for each customer.
With the use of its Krish-e platform, Carnot offers solutions for customers who rent tractors. Almost 25,000 tractors, harvesters, and sprayers work on over 3 million acres of land on the platform each season. It plans to reach 1 lakh in the following 18 months.
The platform has five patents owned by the founders. The company employs over 70 people, works in eight states, and has an influence on over 1.5 lakh farmers. Mahindra and Qualcomm have invested in Carnot. It recently teamed up with Avanti Finance to provide farmers with access to working capital finance through the use of IoT data.
Carnot was created in 2015, just a few years after they graduated. The journey began with a smart linked devices initiative for vehicles called Carsense, which they started with seven individuals in a 200 sqft office in Bombay. After two years, they decided to shift into the agritech area since they felt it was underserved.
