Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) recently celebrated ten years of selling BharatBenz trucks and buses in India. BharatBenz has covered all key applications in the commercial vehicle market with four models in the rigid tipper segment - 2823RT, 3523RT, 4228RT, 4828RT; four models in the rigid segment - 2623R, 3123R, 3828R, 4828R; and 914 & 1824 chassis for buses.

BharatBenz introduces new product features that ensure you and your business make a meaningful difference, such as unrivalled reliability, improved safety and comfort, fewer maintenance costs, and more. Daimler Group is pursuing zero-emission ambitions internationally using a three-pronged strategy. To begin, it will continue to invest in diesel engines since there is still life in them. The second key area is battery electric vehicles, which would be costly. The third major area is the development of trucks powered by hydrogen-based fuel cells. However, India is unlikely to see electric vehicles until the infrastructure is in place.
