BharatBenz has expanded its service network in Uttar Pradesh with the inauguration of three new workshops in Jhansi, Kabrai, and Chitrakoot. The new facilities have been launched in partnership with PPS Trucking to strengthen service and spare parts support in the Bundelkhand region, especially across its busy stone mining belt.
The expansion has been announced by Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG. The company said the move is aimed at improving service reach in high commercial vehicle movement areas and supporting fleet operators with faster turnaround times and better uptime.
The three new BharatBenz service centers together add more than 1,10,000 sq. ft. of service infrastructure in the Bundelkhand region. These facilities include 18 fully equipped service bays and have the capacity to service around 7,500 vehicles annually.
Each workshop is equipped with advanced diagnostic systems, modern tools, and genuine BharatBenz spare parts to ensure reliable and efficient maintenance services. The network will also provide 24x7 roadside assistance through five mobile reach vans for on-road support and breakdown assistance.

The new Jhansi workshop is spread across 40,000 sq. ft. and includes 8 service bays. It is located on the Kanpur-Jhansi Highway (NH 27) and will support vehicles operating on routes connecting Kanpur, Banda, and Gwalior. The facility will also cater to fleets working in the Jhansi stone mining areas.
The Kabrai facility in Mahoba district is built over 60,000 sq. ft. and features 7 service bays. Located on the Kanpur-Sagar Highway (NH 34), the workshop will primarily support trucks operating in Kabrai’s large stone-mining zone, a major loading hub for commercial vehicles across Uttar Pradesh.
The Chitrakoot workshop at Bharatkoop covers 11,000 sq. ft. and comes with 3 service bays. It will serve vehicles operating in the Chitrakoot and Karvi mining belts along with trucks traveling towards Prayagraj from Satna and Rewa regions of Madhya Pradesh.
Bundelkhand is one of Uttar Pradesh’s most active heavy-duty trucking regions due to its strong mining activities. The area is rich in granite, sandstone, limestone, and bauxite, making it important for India’s construction, cement, and aluminum industries.
The region also plays a key role in stone chip transportation, which continues to drive demand in Uttar Pradesh’s commercial vehicle market. BharatBenz said the new workshops will help improve service access, vehicle uptime, and spare parts availability for trucks operating in this corridor.
Apart from Bundelkhand, the facilities are also expected to support fleet operators from other parts of the state whose loading points are located in Jhansi, Kabrai, and Chitrakoot.
Speaking about the expansion, Rajiv Chaturvedi said that downtime in the mining and infrastructure sector directly impacts customer operations and profitability.
He added that the new workshops will provide world-class service support and genuine spare parts in high-demand areas, helping fleet operators achieve faster turnaround time, better operational efficiency, and higher vehicle availability.
Rajiv Sanghvi said the partnership with BharatBenz is focused on delivering quality and customer-centric service. He noted that the new facilities will improve support for customers operating on Bundelkhand’s mining and industrial routes while helping improve vehicle uptime and profitability.
The workshops have also been designed keeping driver comfort in mind. They include dedicated rest areas and customer-friendly amenities for drivers and fleet operators.
A total of 64 trained technicians will manage operations across the three facilities. The centers will provide preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, express service options, and on-site repairs for BharatBenz trucks and buses.
The company added that a strong spare parts inventory across the region will help reduce downtime and ensure faster service turnaround for customers.
With the launch of three new service workshops in Jhansi, Kabrai, and Chitrakoot, BharatBenz has strengthened its presence in Uttar Pradesh’s key mining and trucking corridors. The expansion will improve vehicle uptime, faster service turnaround, and spare parts availability for fleet operators across Bundelkhand. Backed by advanced infrastructure, skilled technicians, and 24x7 roadside assistance, the new facilities highlight BharatBenz’s focus on customer support and reliable after-sales service in high commercial vehicle activity regions.
