Bajaj Auto reported a drop in export sales.

Bajaj Auto, an Indian manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers, has firmly denied any plans to reduce any products in March. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto, has expressed reservations over recent allegations that the company is intending to curtail production in March.
The senior officials of the brand claimed that the volume of production was determined by the predicted sales and there was no production decrease.
"We estimate March to have similar sales to January and February, and possibly slightly lower sales than March 2022," Sharma added.
He went on to say that all current publications contain selected comparisons and estimated numbers. Since the third quarter, the corporation has made no modifications. The bus had already discussed its export outlook. The prognosis for exports remains poor due to the Nigerian crisis and the availability of the US dollar.
According to sources, BAJAJ AUTO is leading the way in three-wheeler sales in the month of February 2023. It sold a total of 27,678 units in Feb 2023 with an increase of 37.9% whereas, in Feb 2022, it sold a total unit of 14,188 by 35.27%,
"Following the third quarter report of FY2023, the outlook offered by the company has remained intact," Sharma added.
Bajaj had anticipated that Nigeria would be their largest export market. The market in this country will remain turbulent until the elections are over and the new government takes office quietly, as well as until their demonetisation takes effect. Previously, the corporation anticipated normalcy in Latin America and then in Africa in May or June.
Africa's demographic was at its height. Road networks and urbanization were expanding, but public transportation was inadequate, implying a doubling of penetration in the following five to seven years.
