Ashok Leyland secured a 715-vehicle order from VRL Logistics, delivering 300 trucks so far. The order includes AVTR 3120 haulage trucks, Oyster staff buses, and BOSS 1615 trucks, with remaining deliveries planned this year.

Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group, is recognized as a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in India. The company confirmed that deliveries are proceeding as planned, reinforcing the long-term collaboration with VRL Logistics.
Modern features and advanced technologies have been integrated into these vehicles. These enhancements are designed to improve operational performance and reliability for VRL Logistics. The delivery of 300 trucks has already been completed, while the remaining 415 vehicles are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
The new vehicles are expected to boost VRL Logistics' fleet productivity and efficiency. The advanced features aim to reduce maintenance downtime and unscheduled stoppages. This should result in higher vehicle uptime and more efficient operations, supporting the company's ongoing growth and customer service capabilities.
Anand Sankeshwar, Managing Director of VRL Logistics, stated that the company has strong confidence in the quality, reliability, and performance of Ashok Leyland trucks. He highlighted the importance of Ashok Leyland's after-sales support and expanding service network in enabling uninterrupted operations. Sankeshwar described the order as a strategic move to deepen the partnership and improve logistics efficiency.
