Ashok Leyland has recently introduced six new products that will decide the future of the company's product portfolio. The newly launched trucks and buses draw power from hydrogen and electric options.

The launch includes BOSS, a new range BEV powered by a lithium-ion battery, and gives a superior payload advantage. This commercial vehicle is launched with a modern, lightweight design that attracts buyers. Ashok Leyland's these new products consist of many safety features like Leak Detection System.
This truck brand showcased its hydrogen internal combustion engine vehicle. It's very similar to ICE-powered commercial vehicles. According to sources, the company has made some essential tweaks to make the engine compatible with the hydrogen fuel type. Moreover, its HICEV has an ADAS function to improve road safety and enhance vehicle performance.
Ashok Leyland revealed three other products with dual fuel options like CNG and LNG. It showcased its 13.5m intercity CNG bus, also launched with a turbocharged engine. This CNG bus has a storage capacity of up to 1500 liters of CNG fuel. The brand has claimed that this CNG bus can ensure about a 1000 km range once fully packed with CNG fuel.
In Auto Expo 2023, this leading commercial vehicle brand also showcased its Bada Dost Xpress, which is now available as a CNG fuel option. This mini bus is powered by a next-generation engine with an ergonomic exterior to give a modern look and a comfortable seating arrangement to accommodate 12 passengers. Moreover, this CNG bus offers many features like AC and a vehicle tracking system.
