Power of Enhanced Performance

The Intra series of pickups features semi-elliptical leaf spring suspension, enabling for deployment in a variety of applications. For example, Intra V10 has six leaves in the front and seven in the back, whereas Intra V30 has five leaves in the front and eight in the back. 

The Tata Intra V10 is powered by a 2-cylinder, 798 cm3 DI engine that produces 33kW (44 HP) and 110 Nm of torque, while the Tata Intra V30 Smart Pickup is powered by a 4-cylinder, 1,496 cm3 DI engine that produces 52 kW (70 HP) and 140 Nm of torque. 

The Intra V30 takes 13.86 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph, while the Intra V10 takes 18 seconds to reach the same speed. The chassis frame was made utilizing the hydroforming method. 

There are fewer welding connections on the chassis, which means increased structural strength, durability, and lower NVH levels.  The front cross member is directly behind the front bumper, ensuring that occupants are totally safe in the event of a frontal accident.

A ground clearance of 175 mm ensures greater maneuverability even in difficult road conditions. Best-in-class gradebility makes it easier to negotiate steep ghat roads and flyovers, even when laden.

The Intra V10 pick up truck has a gradeability of 43%, while the Intra V30 has a gradeability of 37%.

The spacious loading deck, 14-inch tyres, powerful engine, durable materials, and value enhancers (Eco Switch, GSA) make Intra series suited for a wide range of applications. This results in more revenue, lower total cost of ownership, and thus higher profitability.

The Intra V10 accommodates D+2 passengers and has a Turning Circle Radius (TCR) of 4.75 meters. In contrast, the Intra V30 seats D+1 passenger and features a Turning Circle Radius (TCR) of 5.25 meters.
