How can I buy HDFC FASTag?

You can buy HDFC FASTag in two ways: online and offline.

Online Procedure

Follow these simple steps to apply for an HDFC FASTag online:

• Visit the official HDFC website.
• Tap FASTag from the Explore Products bar.
• A drop-down menu will appear; select 'Get a Free FASTag Now'.
• Enter the necessary information about the location and vehicle.
• Pay the fees using any online payment method.
• Within a few days, your FASTag will be delivered to your registered address.

Offline Procedure

If you are uncomfortable with the online application process and would prefer to buy your FASTag offline, please follow the steps below -

• Go to your nearest HDFC branch.
• Inquire about the FASTag.
• You must provide the executive with all the necessary details and documents.
• Pay the HDFC FASTag fees, and your FASTag will be issued.
• Keep your vehicle registration certificate and KYC on hand at all times.

What are the charges for HDFC FASTag?

Different vehicle categories are subject to various charges. This charge is a combination of the issuance Amount, Associated Charges, and Reissue Fees.

1. Issuance Amount- The fee charged when the FASTag is issued is referred to as the Issuance Amount. FASTag issuance costs Rs. 100 across all categories. All applicable taxes are included in the amount.

2. Associated Charges - These are the fees associated with the HDFC FASTag recharge.

3. Reissue Fees- If you need a FASTag reissued due to damage, loss, or theft, you must pay the reissue fees applicable to your vehicle type.

How to Recharge HDFC FASTag?

There are several options for HDFC FASTag recharge online. You can select from the following recharge options. –

1. Website of HDFC Bank

• Go to HDFC's official website.
• Select 'FASTag Services.'
• Select the recharge option
• Complete all of the required fields.-
• Pay the recharge fee
• Your FASTag recharge has been completed successfully.

2. Google Pay

• Begin by linking your bank account to your FASTag ID on the app for HDFC FASTag recharge via Google Pay.
• Then navigate to New Payment > Bill Payments.
• Choose HDFC from the list of FASTag issuer banks.
• Enter the recharge amount and complete the transaction.
• Your recharge has been completed successfully.

3. PhonePe

• Open the PhonePe app.
• Select the 'FASTag Recharge' option from the 'Recharge & Bill Payments' bar.
• Choose HDFC from the list of FASTag issuer banks.
• Enter the recharge amount and complete the transaction.
• Your recharge has been completed successfully.

4. Paytm

• Go to the Paytm app
• Tap 'Recharge & Bill Payments' from the 'All Service' bar.
• Select 'FASTag Recharge' from the menu.
• Choose HDFC from the list of FASTag issuer banks.
• Enter the FASTag number.
• Enter the recharge amount and pay for the HDFC FASTag.
• Your recharge has been completed successfully.
