CNH Industrial has reached an impressive milestone by producing 700,000 tractors at its Greater Noida manufacturing facility. This achievement highlights the company's commitment to excellence and innovation in the agricultural machinery sector.
Since its inception in 1999, the Greater Noida plant has steadily increased its production capacity. Today, the facility is capable of manufacturing up to 60,000 tractors annually. The plant produces approximately 2,000 tractor variants ranging from 35 to 120 horsepower, catering to diverse farming needs. These tractors are not only supplied to the domestic market but are also exported to over 75 countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and North America.
Spanning 60 acres, the Greater Noida plant is one of the most advanced tractor manufacturing sites in India. The facility employs around 1,200 individuals, contributing to local employment and the economy. Committed to sustainability, the plant utilizes energy from solar panels installed on its roof. Additionally, it participates in an afforestation project that follows the Miyawaki Project Methodology, which involves densely planting a variety of native woodland plants.
The milestone celebration was attended by Gerrit Marx, the newly appointed CEO of CNH Industrial. Narinder Mittal, Country Manager and Managing Director of CNH India & SAARC expressed his pride in the achievement, stating, "It is a result of our team's hard work and reaffirms our customers’ trust in our products. India holds a significant position on the international stage, offering immense opportunities and scale. Our focus on technology and innovation will continue to drive our success here."
Operating in India for over 25 years, CNH India has consistently delivered world-class products under its Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment brands. The company's 'Made in India' operations underscore its commitment to producing high-quality, reliable machinery that meets the evolving needs of farmers and construction professionals worldwide.
As CNH India celebrates this significant production milestone, it looks forward to continuing its journey of growth and innovation. The company's dedication to sustainability, advanced manufacturing practices, and customer satisfaction positions it well for future success in the global agricultural and construction equipment markets.
