VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. has opened a 12,000 sq. ft. Eicher Pro X dealership in Faridabad, offering integrated sales, service, and spare parts. The facility targets last-mile logistics, features digital tools, and supports customisation.
The 12,000 sq. ft. dealership operates as a 3S facility, combining sales, servicing, and spare parts under one roof. Customers have access to a lounge, modern service infrastructure, and interactive digital displays. These displays allow buyers to configure vehicles by cargo body type, load deck option, fuel type, and colour. The customisation zone provides flexibility for both fleet operators and individual buyers, a feature not commonly found in commercial vehicle retail in India.
Ramesh Rajagopalan, Executive Vice President at VECV, highlighted the strategic location of the dealership. He noted that Faridabad serves as a key industrial and logistics hub in North India. The city supports sectors such as e-commerce, parcel and courier services, FMCG distribution, and industrial goods movement. The dealership's location on the Delhi–Mathura–Agra corridor offers easy access for fleet operators across the region.
The outlet is close to major industrial and commercial clusters, including DLF Industrial Area, Karkhana Bagh Industrial Area, Sector 24–25 industrial zones, NIT Sabzi Mandi, and Anaj Mandi. This proximity places the dealership within reach of businesses that rely on small commercial vehicles.
The service center employs trained technicians and advanced support tools to reduce vehicle downtime. VECV emphasizes quick servicing turnaround, which is vital for fleet owners whose revenue depends on operational uptime. The 3S model lets customers handle sales, servicing, and spare parts needs in one place, reducing the challenges often faced in commercial vehicle ownership.
The Eicher Pro X range features onboard telematics as standard across all models. The dealership is part of VECV's "born-digital" retail network, using digital tools from vehicle configuration to fleet management support. This reflects a wider trend in India, where commercial vehicle manufacturers are investing in technology-driven customer engagement.
India's small truck segment has seen steady demand, driven by e-commerce, organized logistics, and last-mile delivery growth. Manufacturers like VECV,TataMotors, andMahindraare expanding their dealer networks in tier-2 cities and industrial areas to meet this demand.
VECV, a joint venture between theVolvoGroup and Eicher Motors Limited since August 2008, produces and distributes Eicher-branded trucks and buses, Volvo Buses, and Volvo Trucks in India. The company also operates an engine manufacturing and export division supplying the Volvo Group globally. VECV positions itself as a leader in modernizing commercial transportation in India and other developing markets.
