Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has officially entered the Dominican Republic market through a strategic partnership with Equimax, its authorised distributor. This move is part of Tata Motors global growth strategy and aims to meet the country’s growing logistics, infrastructure, and last-mile delivery needs.
The new range introduced in the Dominican Republic includes:
Tata Super Ace – a compact and agile mini truck designed for last-mile delivery.
Tata Xenon Pickup – a rugged and versatile vehicle suitable for multiple business uses.
Tata Ultra Series (T.6, T.7, T.9) – trucks built for efficient intra-city logistics.
Tata LPT 613 Tipper – ideal for construction and infrastructure projects.
These vehicles are known for their durability, performance, and cost efficiency, and have been customised to meet local business demands.

In the Dominican Republic, customers can benefit from extended warranty options of up to five years or 200,000 km on select models. These will be backed by Equimax’s strategically located service centres for better accessibility and faster maintenance.
Tata Motors commercial vehicles are already available in over 40 countries, with offerings ranging from sub-1-tonne mini-trucks to 60-tonne heavy-duty trucks, along with passenger transport solutions.
With this launch, Tata Motors plans to bring segment-focused and application-specific vehicles to the Dominican Republic, combining frugal engineering with global innovation to help local businesses grow efficiently.
