PPS Motors opens two new Mahindra showrooms in Pune, expanding to 137 outlets across India. The group eyes major growth in Pune and continues to lead Mahindra’s dealer network.

PPS Motors, Mahindra’s dealership group in India, has added two new showrooms in Pune. One is in Katraj, Ambegaon, and the other is in Saswad. These bring the total number of PPS Motors' Mahindra outlets in Pune to eight. With this move, PPS now runs 137 Mahindra facilities across six states.

The Katraj showroom was inaugurated by Baneswar Banerjee, Vice President and National Sales Head at Mahindra. Senior leaders from both Mahindra and PPS Motors were present for the opening.

Strong Growth in Pune

PPS Motors entered the Pune market in July 2024. In less than a year, they’ve sold more than 2,500 Mahindra vehicles in the city. With the two new additions, they now run seven showrooms and one service workshop. The company has plans to grow further. Three more showrooms and two additional workshops are expected soon. This would increase their total presence to 13 outlets in Pune.

Their target:

  1. 4,500–5,000 vehicle sales from Pune per year
  2. Revenue of ₹800–1,000 crore from this region within the next year

PPS Motors’ National Reach

PPS Motors runs its operations in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. In FY25, the group sold over 37,000 Mahindra vehicles, establishing itself as Mahindra’s leading sales and service partner nationwide.

Industry Outlook

The Maharashtra market is also growing. In 2024, car sales in the state increased by 3.93%, going from 433,000 units in 2023 to 450,000 units. Between January and April 2025, Maharashtra also led the country in electric vehicle (EV) and SUV sales, as per Vahan data.
