Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), a leader in future-ready electric mobility solutions, has officially launched Swayamgati, the world’s first production-ready autonomous electric three-wheeler. Priced at ₹4 lakh for the passenger variant, this groundbreaking vehicle marks a new era for Indian transportation by making advanced autonomy affordable and accessible.
OSM announced that bookings for Swayamgati open today, with commercial deployment beginning immediately. The passenger version is priced at ₹4.00 lakh, while the cargo variant, priced at ₹4.15 lakh, will be launched soon.
The autonomous three-wheeler is equipped with a powerful battery delivering up to 120 km range on a single charge. With an ambitious target, Omega Seiki Mobility plans to produce 1,500 autonomous vehicles in the next 24 months.
Swayamgati comes integrated with an AI-based autonomy stack including Lidar, GPS, multi-sensor navigation, and AI-powered obstacle detection up to 6 meters. It also features remote safety controls, ensuring reliable and secure operation in real-world environments.
The system requires prior mapping that can be customized for specific campuses, industrial parks, airports, or smart city routes.
Unlike global autonomous vehicles built for premium markets, Swayamgati is designed specifically for Indian traffic conditions. It works seamlessly in low-speed, high-density environments, making it ideal for airports, gated communities, corporate campuses, industrial hubs, and smart cities.
Being fully electric, it produces zero tailpipe emissions, reduces maintenance costs, and lowers operating expenses for businesses and fleet operators. Its affordability ensures that autonomous mobility solutions are no longer limited to luxury fleets but can benefit Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well.
Swayamgati successfully completed Phase 1 pilot testing on a 3-km autonomous route that included 7 stops, real-time obstacle detection, and safe passenger movement without human intervention. With Phase 1 validated, the commercial rollout under Phase 2 will focus on deployment in controlled and semi-controlled environments.
Omega Seiki Mobility has built a strong manufacturing and service ecosystem. The company operates two plants in Faridabad and one in Chakan (Pune), with an international assembly plant in Dubai, Jafza to cater to Asian and African EV markets.
Its 200+ dealership and service center network across India ensures quick maintenance and reliable customer support, strengthening its push toward autonomous and electric mobility adoption.
Mr. Uday Narang, Founder & Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, said: “The launch of Swayamgati is a bold step into the future of Indian transportation. We are proving that India can lead in autonomous technology, not just follow. With AI, Lidar, and autonomous navigation built here in India, we are making autonomy accessible at an affordable price.”
Mr. Vivek Dhawan, Chief Strategy Officer at OSM, added: “Swayamgati is about democratizing autonomy. With this, we are leapfrogging traditional EV barriers and enabling everyday intelligent mobility for cities, campuses, and industries.”
The global autonomous vehicle market is projected to surpass USD 620 billion by 2030, according to a 2025 McKinsey report. With rising urban congestion and last-mile connectivity challenges in India, autonomous electric vehicles like Swayamgati could play a key role in shaping efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective mobility solutions.
Omega Seiki Mobility, part of the Anglian Omega Group, is a next-generation EV manufacturer focusing on clean, connected, and intelligent transport. With innovations ranging from electric cargo carriers to autonomous passenger vehicles, OSM is leading India’s transition to a zero-emission mobility ecosystem.
