Neuron Energy partners with Hexall Motors for Double Front Wheel Electric Vehicle

Neuron Energy, a manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for electric two- and three-wheelers, has announced a strategic relationship with Hexall Motors. This collaboration marks a key milestone in the electric vehicle (EV) market by introducing a new product from Hexall Motors.

In this collaboration, Neuron Energy will provide Hexall Motors with 1000 tailor-made battery packs throughout the upcoming year, commencing in June 2024.

Hexall Motors has unveiled a pioneering L5 category vehicle with a twin front wheel. The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has patented and approved this unique design, which is expected to change the market, according to the company. 

The agreement is estimated to generate Rs 20 crore in yearly revenue for Neuron Energy. The supplied battery packs are 16 KWR fast-charging high-speed units designed specifically for light commercial vehicles (LCVs). 

Neuron Energy designed these battery packs to match the specific needs of Hexall Motors' new vehicle, resulting in optimal performance and efficiency.

Hexall Motors' new vehicle, which will debut in the Delhi-NCR region, has a large cargo capacity, making it the preferable choice for last-mile delivery firms, particularly for hauling electronic items and bulky freight. 

With a container depth of 8.5 feet, it is one of the largest in its class. The double front wheel design improves stability, making it a safer and more reliable choice for urban transportation.

To satisfy the demands of our vehicles, we required specialized battery packs with advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS), high-speed charging, and a longer range. We wanted a partner who could collaborate with us and understand our technologies. That is precisely what we discovered with Neuron Energy's battery packs. Neuron Energy created a solution that completely fulfilled our specifications, making this relationship vital for us."
