Montra Electric teams up with Green Drive Mobility to deploy 50 EVIATOR electric vehicles in India, aiming to strengthen sustainable logistics across key delivery segments.
Key Highlights:
Montra Electric, the clean mobility wing of the Murugappa Group, has signed a strategic partnership with Green Drive Mobility to deploy 50 EVIATOR electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs) across India. The rollout will take place over the next three months and is aimed at strengthening electric logistics in the country.
Agreement Signed to Drive Clean Transport
The agreement was formalized on July 10, 2025, by Saju Nair, CEO of TIVOLT Electric Private Limited (Montra Electric’s SCV division), and Hari Krishna, Founder & CEO of Green Drive Mobility. The deployment will happen in phases and focus on first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile delivery operations.
Smart Fleet Integration
Green Drive will integrate the EVIATOR into its technology-driven fleet, which uses real-time tracking, AI-based analytics, and smart route planning. This move is expected to boost delivery efficiency while lowering the carbon footprint of operations.
Green Drive Mobility supports companies that are looking to meet sustainability goals. With a fleet management system powered by telematics and data-driven decision-making, the company is helping shape a cleaner logistics future.
Leadership insights:
Saju Nair said, “We are delighted to join hands with Green Drive Mobility. This collaboration is a big step in making clean mobility solutions mainstream in Indian logistics. The EVIATOR is built for reliability and performance across all segments.”
Hari Krishna of Green Drive added, “The EVIATOR is a game-changer for our operations. Its range, load capacity, and driver comfort make it the right fit for our ESG-focused clients. It aligns perfectly with our mission of offering green logistics solutions.”
Advanced Features in EVIATOR
The EVIATOR electric vehicle comes with a software-defined vehicle (SDV) architecture and advanced telematics. These features are designed to meet the growing demands of commercial logistics in India, where both performance and efficiency matter.
Part of a Larger Portfolio
The EVIATOR is not a standalone product. It is part of Montra Electric’s growing lineup, which also includes the RHINO (India’s first 55-ton electric truck trailer) and the SUPER CARGO, built for last-mile delivery. These offerings reflect the brand’s broader focus across heavy, mid-size, and small commercial electric vehicles, three-wheelers, and electric tractors.
