Focus on First-Time Buyers
The main aim of this tie-up is to help first-time buyers, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. These areas often have fewer banking options, so this collaboration will make it easier for people to buy vehicles with flexible repayment plans.
Who Attended the Event?
From Maruti Suzuki, Partho Banerjee (Senior Executive Officer for Marketing & Sales) and Vishal Sharma (Vice President of Maruti Suzuki Finance & Driving School) were present. ESAF Bank was represented by its Managing Director and CEO, K. Paul Thomas, along with other senior officials.
Helping Underserved Communities
Many people in smaller towns still find it difficult to get vehicle loans. With this new partnership, both companies hope to change that by offering better access to financing in areas where vehicle ownership is still low. ESAF Small Finance Bank, which started in 2017, is known for helping women, small business owners, and people in rural areas. This partnership fits well with their mission to support underserved communities.
A Step Toward Greater Mobility
With this move, Maruti Suzuki and ESAF Bank are collaborating to make owning a car or commercial vehicle more affordable and accessible for many Indians, particularly those purchasing a vehicle for the first time.
