The LCV category, which comprises vehicles weighing less than 2 tons, sold 3,941 CV units in September 2023 as compared to 4,452 units sold in Sep 2022. As a result, there was a decline of 11% in sales.
The LCV category, which comprises vehicles weighing between 2 tons to 3.5 tons sold 18,917 CV units. In September 2023, this category sold 18,917 units, up from 16,413 units in September 2022. As a result, it yielded a 15% increase.
The sale of LCVs weighing more than 3.5 tonnes and Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles increased by 42% to 1,139 units sold in September 2023, compared to 801 units in September 2022.
The sale of 3-wheelers including electric three-wheelers increased by 37% to 7,921 units in September 2023, compared to 5,774 units in September 2022.
