Exponent Energy has partnered with Fyn Mobility. Fyn will be able to operate a vehicle of 15-minute full charge EVs thanks to the new fleet of Altigreen's neEV Tez (the result of a partnership between Altigreen and Exponent Energy) and Exponent's epump network.
This collaboration will allow the use of a commercial EV for multiple shifts covering close to 18 hours of service, increasing the RoI and improving both cost and energy efficiency.
With Fyn's EV ecosystem platform and Exponent's 15-minute full charge technology, both businesses are trying to offer the EV-as-a-service market a metric of scale that looks at EV cross-utilisation rather than just the quantity of EVs deployed. With this collaboration, Fyn intends to roll out these EVs for cross-use, lowering the overall cost of operations for enterprises and opening up new options within the industry.
Arun Vinayak, Co-founder and CEO of Exponent Energy, spoke about the potential for resource sharing and how the partnership ties in with their initiatives with Altigreen.
With Altigreen, Fyn recently launched its first product. So they have the world's fastest charging vehicle, the neEV Tez. When it comes to running logistics, this has fundamentally transformed the game.
Visakh Sasikumar, Founder and CEO, of Fyn Mobility added his perspective on the partnership and highlighted that this is a big game changer that has been seen with Exponent and the availability of charging stations across the places that we are working. This is similar to an ecosystem coming together. We believe that a single player cannot win this ecosystem; it must be a group of people, a group of startups, or a group of tech guys coming together and ensuring that there is a change in mindset that is required in this industry, that fast charging is a technology that makes it happen, and that it gets to the end customers through fleets. So there is a lot of overlap between us when it comes to connecting technology.
The growth of the e-commerce and logistics industries has increased the demand for dependable last-mile delivery methods, but most gig workers continue to face high fuel costs and lengthy charging times. Last Mile Logistics costs three times that of everything else, and there is a greater need for flexibility and on-demand goods and services with direct connections to customers. Is on the rise
Fyn will be able to minimize idle time and enable several trips with a single Altigreen neEV Tez after a 15-minute full charge. Exponent has already deployed 20 epumps across Bengaluru to support the fleet, with plans to add 80 more in the next six months.
