In June 2025, India’s electric vehicle (EV) sales showed mixed performance. The sales of passenger electric three-wheelers (E3W L5) increased to 16,333 units in June 2025, compared to 14,993 units in May 2025. In June 2025, cargo electric three-wheeler sales (E3W L5) decreased to 2,015 units, compared to 2,424 units in May 2025.

Electric three-wheelers (E3W) are an important category of the electric vehicle (EV) market in India, as they offer affordable, convenient, and eco-friendly mobility solutions for both passengers and goods. In this news, we will analyse the sales performance of E3W L5 in the goods and passenger segments for June 2025 based on the Vahan Dashboard data.

E-3W Passenger L5 Sales Trend

According to Vahan Dashboard data, the E-3W L5 Passenger category sold 16,333 units in June 2025 compared to 7,816 in June 2024. The E-3W Passenger L5 segment witnessed YoY growth in sales.

OEM-wise Electric Three-Wheeler Passenger L5 Sales Trend

The sales figures for Electric Three-Wheeler Passenger L5 have shown some remarkable growth in June 2025. Here is the sales performance of Top OEMs in June 2025:

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility sold 6,323 units in June 2025, compared to the 3,305 units sold in June 2024. In May 2025, the company sold 5,450 units. The Y-O-Y and M-O-M sales increased by 91% and 16%, respectively.

Bajaj Auto showed growth by selling 6,219 units in June 2025 compared to the 2,380 units sold in June 2024. In May 2025, the company sold 5,872 units. The Y-O-Y and M-O-M sales increased by 161% and 5.9%, respectively.

TVS Motor sold 1655 units in June 2025, which is higher than the 1583 units in May 2025 and the 20 units in June 2024. The M-O-M sales increased by 4.5%.

Piaggio Vehicles sold 923 units in June 2025, which is higher than the 870 units in May 2025 and lower than the 1102 units in June 2024. The Y-O-Y sales decreased by 16%, and M-O-M sales increased by 6.1%.

TI Clean Mobility sold 482 units in June 2025, which is lower than the 496 units in May 2025 and higher than the 388 units in May 2024. The Y-O-Y sales increased by 24%, and M-O-M sales decreased by 2.8%.

E-3W Goods L5 Sales

According to Vahan Dashboard data, the total number of E-3Ws sold in the L5 Goods category was 2,015 units in June 2025 compared to 1,932 in June 2024. The E-3W Cargo L5 segment witnessed a growth in Y-O-Y sales.

OEM-wise E-3W Cargo L5 Sales Trend

The sales data for Electric Three-Wheeler Goods L5 in June 2025 shows varied performances across different brands, with some experiencing notable growth:

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility: The company sold 455 units in June 2025, which is lower than the 565 units in May 2025 and 554 units in June 2024. The Y-O-Y sales and M-O-M sales decreased by 17.9% and 19.5%, respectively.

Omega Seiki: The company sold 319 units in June 2025, which is lower than the 330 units in May 2025 and higher than the 306 units in June 2024. The Y-O-Y sales increased by 4.2%, and the M-O-M sales decreased by 3.3%.

Bajaj Auto: The company sold 259 units in June 2025, which is lower than the 422 units in May 2025 and higher than the 166 units in June 2024. The Y-O-Y sales increased by 56%, and the M-O-M sales decreased by 38.6%.

3EV Industries: The company sold 232 units in June 2025.

Euler Motors: The company sold 203 units in June 2025, which is lower than the 286 units in May 2025 and 209 units in June 2024. The Y-O-Y sales and M-O-M sales decreased by 2.9% and 29%, respectively.
