Eicher Trucks & Buses, a division of Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV), celebrated National Energy Conservation Day by highlighting its renewed focus on building an energy-efficient and sustainable mobility ecosystem. The company aims to improve operational efficiency, boost fleet productivity, and strengthen smart manufacturing practices to help customers achieve more while using less energy.
Eicher continues to lead the commercial vehicle segment with its wide range of EV, CNG, LNG, and Clean Diesel drivetrains. These modern powertrains deliver higher energy efficiency and proudly carry forward the legacy of Eicher as the “Mileage ka Badshah.”
A major strength in Eicher’s energy-saving journey is its connected vehicle ecosystem.
More than 3,87,000 Eicher trucks and buses currently use the MyEicher digital platform to:

Increase fleet utilization
Lower on-road energy intensity

VECV is rapidly increasing its use of renewable energy. The company has already begun expanding production through a 6 MW solar installation. Its ambitious target is to achieve 70% renewable energy usage by FY27.
