Montra Electric launched the SUPER CARGO electric three-wheeler in Delhi at ₹4.37 lakh (post-subsidy), aimed at last-mile cargo delivery. It offers a 170 km range, 15-minute fast charging (via Exponent Energy), and runs on a 13.8 kWh battery with 11 kW power and 70 Nm torque. Available in three variants and four colours, it includes features like hill-hold, regenerative braking, and reverse assist. Over 200 bookings were secured at launch. It’s now available in 90+ cities with a 5-year battery warranty.

Tata Motors Launches Ace Pro: India’s Most Affordable Mini-Truck

Tata Motors launched the Ace Pro mini-truck at ₹3.99 lakh, making it the most affordable in its class. Available in petrol, bi-fuel (CNG + petrol), and EV variants, it offers a 750 kg payload. The EV version delivers a 155 km range with IP67-rated components. Key features include reverse assist, digital display, and Fleet Edge connectivity. It’s backed by easy financing, 2,500+ service centers, and a wide dealer network, aiming to support small businesses and last-mile delivery across India.

TI Clean Mobility Targets $1 Billion Turnover by FY30, Expands EV Line-up

TI Clean Mobility aims for a USD 1 billion turnover by FY30, backed by a ₹3,000 crore investment. It launched the SUPER CARGO electric 3-wheeler at ₹4.37 lakh and plans to introduce EV tractors, tippers, ambulances, and e-rickshaws. With 4 EV plants and a presence in 101 markets (targeting 150 by FY26), the company has sold over 10,000 three-wheelers. Future revenue targets include 50% from HCVs, 20% each from SCVs and 3-wheelers, and 10% from tractors.

NueGo Expands Electric Intercity Bus Services Across India; Delhi–Lucknow Becomes Longest Electric Route

NueGo launched its longest electric bus route from Delhi to Lucknow and added new routes in cities like Amritsar, Madurai, and Guntur. Its fleet now includes 300+ e-buses operating in 100+ cities with up to 500 km range via fast charging. Each bus features CCTV, GPS, 80 km/h speed limit, and safety measures for women. NueGo also introduced India's first electric sleeper buses, aiming for zero-emission intercity travel through GreenCell Mobility’s sustainable transport mission.

Ashok Leyland Eyes 30% M&HCV Market Share in North India by 2028

Ashok Leyland aims for a 30% M&HCV market share in North India by 2028, up from its current 26%. North India contributes 32% of total industry volume. To support growth, over 50 new dealerships and service outlets will open this year. The company’s regional market share rose 6.5% in three years. Backed by strong Q4 profit of ₹1,246 crore and ₹4,242 crore net cash in FY25, Ashok Leyland is set for aggressive expansion in this high-demand region.

Tata Motors to Complete Demerger by End of 2025

Tata Motors will split its Commercial and Passenger Vehicle businesses into two separate listed firms by end-2025. The accounting split begins July 1, followed by the operational split from October 1. Shareholder approval is complete, pending regulatory clearances. Existing shares will become PV shares, while the CV unit will be renamed and listed separately. The move aims to create focused growth paths and boost performance for each segment. Completion is expected by November–December 2025.

Daimler India Partners with Gainwell Trucking for BharatBenz Mining Trucks

Daimler India partnered with Gainwell Trucking to boost BharatBenz mining truck sales and service, focusing on the 3532CM model for coal, iron ore, and limestone transport. Gainwell will manage sales and after-sales across key mining states like MP, Gujarat, and the Northeast. Services include on-site repair, express service, and spare parts support. This collaboration supports DICV’s plan to expand in mining and infrastructure, offering high-performance trucks and better uptime for heavy-duty operations in India’s critical mining zones.

Mahindra Launches Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.9 CNG for ₹11.19 Lakh

Mahindra launched the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.9 CNG at ₹11.19 lakh, featuring a 2.5-litre engine with 61 kW power and 220 Nm torque. It offers a 1.85-tonne payload and a 180-litre CNG tank delivering up to 400 km range. Designed for urban and semi-urban transport, it includes iMAXX telematics, AC, power steering, and D+2 seating. With a 3,050 mm cargo bed, it's a cost-efficient choice for transporters needing performance, comfort, and advanced fleet management.

Exponent Energy Featured in World Economic Forum’s 2025 Technology Pioneers List

Bengaluru-based Exponent Energy made it to the World Economic Forum’s 2025 Technology Pioneers list for its 15-minute EV charging tech. The system supports over 2,000 EVs in major Indian cities and ensures 3,000 charging cycles using standard lithium-ion cells. Backed by $44.6 million in funding from top investors including Hero MotoCorp’s family office, Exponent leads India’s fast-charging innovation. It joins nine other Indian startups recognized globally for breakthroughs in clean energy, space, robotics, and urban mobility.

Force Motors Partners with Zoho for Digital Transformation

Force Motors launched Project DigiForce to modernize its tech infrastructure, partnering with Zoho to implement CRM, DMS, and 12 AI tools. Over 200 dealerships and 100+ service and parts centers in India and abroad will benefit. The goal is to boost speed, service quality, and data-driven decisions. CIAE Bhopal has developed a new sowing machine that combines bed making, mulching, drip laying, and planting in one step. Named the Tractor Driven Plastic Mulch Layer-cum-Planter, it saves 89% labour and 43% sowing costs per hectare. Ideal for crops like corn, peas, okra, and beans, it boosts efficiency and precision. Priced around ₹3 lakh, it works at 0.2 hectares/hour. Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan praised it as a revolutionary tool for modern and profitable farming.
