Key Highlights:

Cityflo has launched a new AI-based driver safety system in its buses running in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi. This system uses two main technologies, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and Driver Monitoring System (DMS), to make travel safer and improve how drivers perform.

The ADAS gives real-time alerts on the road to help drivers drive better, while the DMS keeps a check on how the driver behaves inside the bus. Together, these tools aim to reduce accidents, maintain proper driving standards, and increase trust in the service.

Cityflo Focuses on Safer Rides with Smart Driver Monitoring

Rushabh Shah, Chief Business Officer at Cityflo, said, “As we grow and add more buses, we need better systems to manage them well. We believe that running things smoothly starts with knowing exactly what’s happening inside and outside the vehicle. This new setup is not just to fix problems after they happen, but to stop them before they do.”

Cityflo Introduces Safety System

India has only 1% of the world’s vehicles but causes 11% of global road deaths, says the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. This shows a serious road safety problem in the country. Most accidents, over 90%, happen because of human mistakes like tiredness, distractions, or poor decisions by drivers. Cityflo’s new AI-based safety system aims to tackle these problems by helping drivers stay alert and focused, hoping to make roads safer for everyone.

Cityflo Works to Set Standards in India’s Bus Industry

Cityflo’s the new safety system, is part of a larger plan to bring more order to the bus sector, which is often unorganised. The company operates over 400 buses with 600 trained drivers, covering more than 10 million kilometers and providing 6.6 million rides every year. By improving not just the technology and buses but the entire system, Cityflo wants to make its services more reliable and improve how its fleet performs overall.

Using AI to help drivers stay alert and prevent accidents can save lives and build trust among passengers. It’s good to see technology being used not just to fix problems but to stop them before they happen.
