This expansion signifies a strategic move from their initial focus on medium-duty trucks, reaching into the realm of heavier commercial vehicles exceeding 19 tons.
The partnership, which began with a memorandum of understanding in 2023, is now extending its reach to encompass larger and more robust vehicles. At the heart of this collaboration lies the integration of BAE System’s advanced electric motor technology and sophisticated power electronics with Eaton's newly developed HD 4-speed EV transmission.
