AMU Leasing, 3ev Industries, and 3eco Systems have announced a new collaboration to launch a new trend in India to deploy over 600 converted ICE-to-EV 3-Wheel L-5N freight vehicles in nine months.
AMU Leasing will launch India's first commercially proven ICE-to-EV converted 3-wheel L-5N, e30x, as part of the agreement, building on its current partnership with 3ev. It will help 3eco develop its operations in Mumbai by partnering with prominent enterprise customers such as Amazon, Flipkart, DHL, Big Basket, Decathlon, and Porter.
The agreement is expected to boost EV adoption in hyper-local transportation services, expanding on 3eco's existing fleet of 1,000+ freshly constructed EVs. 3eco has already committed 600 EVs under this agreement for last-mile services to leading enterprise end-customers under multi-year contracts, with all of these EVs scheduled for sale and RTO registration within nine months.
AMU Leasing, the first and only woman-led technology-driven NBFC enterprise exclusively supporting the EV ecosystem, would offer retro-fitment financing up to 80% as part of the agreement. AMU Leasing intends to gain a 20% market share in retro fitment adoption across the country.
"As a technology-driven NBFC in the BFSI business, AMU Leasing understands the value of supporting new solutions that may boost sustainable revenue growth. We are not only improving vehicle performance by financing the retrofit of ICE to EV conversion kits, but we are also helping India's aim of being a Net Zero Carbon Emissions economy by 2070," stated Nehal Gupta, Director of AMU Leasing.
