Kubota (UK) Ltd, a leading player in the agricultural machinery industry, has recently announced the launch of 10 new models in their RT compact articulated wheeled loader range. These new additions, powered by Kubota's dependable diesel engines, offer a blend of power and versatility in a compact design.
The RT Compact Wheeled Loader Range Grows
At the recent LAMMA '24 event, Kubota unveiled 10 new models, expanding their RT compact wheeled loader range. This announcement follows their recent introduction of two battery-powered models, reflecting Kubota's dedication to offering a broad spectrum of solutions for farmers and construction professionals.
Efficient Diesel Engines
The new RT models, powered by Kubota diesel engines, offer power outputs between 15-36kW. They meet the EU Stage V emission standards, demonstrating Kubota's commitment to environmental sustainability. The two top-tier models are equipped with a DPF/DOC emissions control module. With a generous service interval of 6,000 hours, these models promise extended productivity with minimal downtime.
Compact Size and Advanced Features
One of the key features of the RT range is its compact size. The entry-level RT100-2 is just 920 mm wide, while the range-topping RT280-2 is 1.4m wide with 31x15.5-15 tires. The overall height can be reduced to under 2m with the use of a folding canopy, adding to the convenience.
Hydrostatic Drive and Superior Traction
All models in the range feature hydrostatic drive. The smaller models use heavy-duty Poclain wheel motors, while the larger models use Bosch Rexroth hydrostatic transmissions to drive mechanical axles. This allows for the use of limited slip or 100% mechanical differential locks, enhancing traction. Depending on the model, the travel speed can reach up to 30kph.
Auxiliary Hydraulic Circuits and User-Friendly Features
Up to two auxiliary hydraulic circuits are available, with one offering proportional control through a multi-function joystick. Flow rates range from 28-51 LPM, catering to a variety of hydraulic needs. Standard features include a boom float and a Eurohitch headstock. Models with a fully-glazed cab come with a heater, radio, road lighting kit, and rear-view mirrors for operator comfort and convenience.
Service Intervals and Warranty
Engine service intervals are set at every 500 hours, reflecting Kubota's commitment to durability and easy maintenance. All models come with a two-year, 2,000-hour warranty for added peace of mind.
In summary, the expansion of Kubota's RT compact wheeled loader range showcases its dedication to providing innovative solutions for the agricultural and construction sectors. The new models, with their versatility, power, and user-friendly features, highlight Kubota's commitment to meeting the changing needs of its customers while prioritizing efficiency and sustainability.
